Muir Woods Wedding in Mill Valley
I recently had the privilege of capturing Cathy and Michael's stunningly intimate wedding day in the beautiful settings of Muir Woods in Mill Valley and Perry's on Magnolia in Larkspur, California.
Intimate Wedding Ceremony in Muir Woods
From the start, it was clear this day would be special. Cathy and Michael, both love the redwoods of Northern California, so it was only fitting that they chose Muir Woods as the perfect place to exchange their vows. The towering trees and calm atmosphere provided a magical setting for their ceremony. They had a really intimate wedding with only 24 guests who gathered to watch the couple say "I do" with a backdrop of gorgeous redwood trees and a bright blue sky.
Their ceremony was so touching, with personal moments throughout that allowed the guests a glimpse into Cathy and Michael's playful relationship. With this wedding being such an intimate gathering, each moment felt all the more personal and touching, with every guest fully immersed in the experience. After the vows, we took our time exploring the woods. Cathy and Michael were smiling and whispering with one another as we wandered through the forest. I kept snapping away and taking pictures as we walked through the tree.
Wedding Reception at Perry's on Magnolia
After our forest adventure, the wedding celebration continued at Perry's on Magnolia in Larkspur. The reception had the perfect laid-back vibe for the couple, with guests sharing stories and celebrating Cathy and Michael's wedding. This cozy venue was the perfect place to enjoy the company of their family and friends. The evening was filled with the best food and drinks, with the cake being a huge hit with all the wedding guests!
