Carmel Valley Wedding at Joullian Vineyards
I had the joy of capturing McKenzie and Joe's colorful spring wedding at Joullian Vineyards in Carmel Valley, California. When I arrived, it was clear that this wedding day would be full of energy and love. The venue had breathtaking views of vineyards, creating a backdrop that was so stunning that it felt like stepping into a painting.
Private Vows Before The Wedding Ceremony
One of the most memorable moments of the day was McKenzie and Joe's first look and private vow exchange. Before the ceremony, they chose a private spot in the vines to share their vows. This intimate moment was filled with smiles and tears, setting the tone for a beautiful, emotional day. As a photographer, capturing this private moment that McKenzie and Joe shared was a highlight of my day. No one was around to witness, so when they look back on these photos, they will remember those emotions they felt and the joy they shared before saying, "I do."
As we moved into the ceremony, the epic wedding ceremony space of Joullian Vineyards was the perfect place for McKenzie and Joe to get married. The lush greens and views made every photo pop with energy and color. Mckenzie and Joe exchanged their vows under the beautiful California sky, and their guests were all so emotional to witness this day with every smile and tear, showing the couple how much all their guests loved them!
Outdoor Wedding Reception in Carmel Valley, California
Post-ceremony, the golden hour was the most magical light for the couple's sweetheart photos. The sunset over Carmel Valley brought out the most beautiful, soft warming glow over the couple as they laughed and cuddled, soaking in that they just got married!! These moments, set against the vineyard backdrop, were the most magical!
The reception that followed was a blast. The dance floor was alive with energy, and it was clear that McKenzie, Joe, and their guests were there to party! Everyone brought their best dance moves, and the joy was so contagious. It's always fun when the guests have so much fun during the reception since it lets me caption some of the best moments, especially the sweet ones shared between family members and grandparents. These candid moments throughout the night are always some of my favorites to capture on wedding days!
