Abby + Mimi's San Francisco Proposal


Some days just feel like magic—and Abby & Mimi’s San Francisco proposal was absolutely one of them. From the golden glow of the sunset to the joyful surprise on Mimi’s face, the entire experience was full of love, laughter, and the kind of happiness that you feel just by being near it.


Abby had been planning this moment for a while and wanted it to be just right—stunning views, a meaningful location, and a memory Mimi would never forget. We brainstormed locations together and landed on the Legion of Honor and Lands End—two iconic San Francisco spots with amazing views! Between the towering cypress trees, cliffsides, and a postcard-worthy view of the Golden Gate Bridge, the vibes were immaculate.


The day of the proposal, we lucked out with the most gorgeous weather—clear skies and that kind of soft golden light photographers dream about. Mimi had no idea what was coming. When Abby dropped to one knee with the ocean behind them, Mimi was completely surprised and overwhelmed in the best way possible. Both of them were beaming with joy.


Just when Mimi thought the surprises were over, Abby had one more up their sleeve—her closest friends popped out from nearby to celebrate! Cue round two of happy tears and hugs all around!


After the big “yes,” we wandered down to the green fields near Lands End to snap some golden hour portraits. These two were so giggly and giddy—it was impossible not to smile just watching them. We ended the session with Mimi and Abby popping champagne with their friends
