Kallista and Bryan’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. Set in the heart of San Francisco, they chose the iconic Grace Cathedral for their ceremony and celebrated with friends and family at the University Club. The university club is a stunning, antique venue with one of the best views of San Francisco’s city skyline. The day began with Kallista meeting her bridesmaids outside the cathedral for a heartfelt first look. She wore a custom Suzanne Hanley gown with hand-sewn roses along the neckline, a structured corset top, and an elegant satin skirt. The energy was so joyful & bridesmaids were completely in awe of her bridal look, and those sweet, fun moments truly set the tone for the rest of the day!


Following that, we captured separate family portraits before the ceremony began. The grandeur of Grace Cathedral made for truly dramatic and timeless photos, it perfectly matched their vision. After saying their vows, Kallista and Bryan celebrated with their wedding party and soaked up all the post-ceremony excitement before heading to the University Club for their reception.


The University Club was the perfect setting for their celebration. Its vintage charm, rich wood details, and breathtaking city views gave the reception a warm, timeless feel. Cocktail hour was lively and full of connection as guests mingled and took in the incredible view. Dinner was beautifully styled with elegant table details, and heartfelt (and hilarious) speeches filled the room with laughter. Afterward, the dance floor upstairs kept the party going with even more sweeping views and an intimate balcony space. Kallista and Bryan were so present and filled with joy, it made capturing their day in a candid, documentary style such a dream. I even included some fun direct flash 35mm film photos during their reception that added an extra layer of nostalgia to their story. 


I’m based in Sonoma County, but weddings like this remind me how much I love photographing in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Kallista and Bryan’s day was filled with genuine moments, organic beauty, and an effortless kind of fun - everything I love about capturing wedding days!!!
