Natural and Ambient Light: Letting the Sun and Moon Do Their Magic


I’m a huge fan of using natural light or ambient light whenever possible. The sun, candles & uplighting provides the most authentic images, so I do my best to let it shine through. There’s something so real and warm about watching light shine in different ways. Of course, when things get a little darker (like on the dance floor), I love using direct flash to add a fun, editorial touch. But, for the most part, I want the light to tell the story, just like it does with the moments I’m capturing.
