Megha and Tejas are such a beautiful couple, and their SF engagement photos were easy going, loving, earthy, and casual with gorgeous views of the city! Many of the locations we visited are iconic spots in San Francisco and are very touristy, however, that doesn't make them any less special! They are so popular for a reason. I had so much fun scouting out these locations with different eyes, and finding so many gems in little corners that didn't have many people.
Megha + Tejas' SF Engagement Photos - Hitting up All of The Iconic Locations!
Megha and Tejas live in New York, but they met and lived in San Francisco a few years ago. They've had many beautiful outdoor dates including walking up Lyon Street Steps and drinking to-go cocktails in Alamo Sq. Park! They came back to SF to capture the beautiful places where they fell in love. Their love story began in San Francisco and it felt only natural that they took engagement photos here. I had so much fun capturing them in some of their favorite places, with all the memories rushing back, the nostalgia and chatting about what they did and what their first date was like! It truly was so fun to see all of these spots with a different perspective. I've been to these locations as a tourist - but as a photographer, I saw so many different perspectives, ideas and loved to get creative and capture the beauty of the city!
Megha + Tejas Exploring Alamo Square For Their SF Engagement Photos
Alamo Square is always so busy, so instead of capturing it on the big lawn area where everyone gathers, we walked along the path and got views of the city with the big trees in the foreground. As well as walking along the painted ladies. If you're unfamiliar with San Francisco but looking to have SF engagement photos done, the painted ladies are these beautiful iconic Victorian and Edwardian houses that are pastel painted and have the most beautiful detailing. They make for the perfect backdrop for any kind of session with the San Francisco skyline beaming behind them! Plus, they are just so beautiful and a must see!
Walking Lyon Street Steps as a Newly Engaged Couple
We then went to Lyon Street Steps, we got views of the beautiful city in the background, and the ocean. The steps themselves have some beautiful European touches of design and are the perfect setting for some SF engagement photos! Right next to the top of the Lyon Steps, you come across this luscious greenery, big trees, and even some wildflowers! It's super close to Lover's Lane too! Though we opted to run around this field of grass and had so much fun frolicking and cuddling in the grass. Spring is so amazing to get this green and free spirited vibes!
