Straus Home Ranch in Marshall, California, is a hidden gem of a wedding venue. I got the opportunity to capture the prettiest details of this California wedding venue at a styled shoot hosted by Jess from Koller Design Studio. When I heard that Jess was not only doing the planning but also the florals I jumped at the chance to capture it since her work is also so dreamy and magical!! The work she was able to create at Straus Home Ranch was stunning, and I'm so excited to share what a wedding at Straus House Ranch could look like for future couples. Earthy & Effortless Wedding at Straus Home Ranch

We kicked things off with a gorgeous flat lay and invitation suite, I always love getting creative with wedding day detail shots, and for this day, I added little seashells to the detail shots, which gave the photos a coastal vibe. Adding seashells to the details felt just right since we were so close to the sea. Jess from Koller Design Studio provided the perfect florals for the flat lays, and it was so fun arranging them in different variations to get the shot.

What made this day even more special is that Phoebe and Justin, our models for the day, actually got married at Straus Home Ranch and kept sharing little details of their wedding throughout the day. I was also able to capture the wedding dress before Phoebe put it on, just as I would during a real wedding. It seriously felt as if it was Pheobe's wedding day all over again since we got all of those intimate getting-ready shots before she even put the wedding dress on. Justin's suit had a velvet jacket, and not only did this elevate his look, but the flowers were the perfect compliment to his look.

When Jess and her team finished the floral arch, I immediately started snapping away with my camera. We captured moments in front of the ranch house, under the floral arch, and then moved on to the table setting. Jess outdid herself with the decor, blending elevated florals, earthy tones, fruits, candles, and even the stemware she selected made every shot a piece of art.

Documenting this wedding-styled shoot was a dream. Every corner of Straus Home Ranch offers so many opportunities for photos. Surrounded by nature, the ranch has a vibe that's hard to find elsewhere. Everything about this styled shoot, from the linens and tablescapes to the unique floral arrangements, screamed 'perfection.' Working alongside Jess and the other amazing vendors made this an incredible experience, and I fell head over heels for Straus Home Ranch.
