Bridget and Kristen’s engagement session at Rodeo Beach in Marin County was such a fun and beautiful evening! This spot is one of my favorite beaches in Northern California, with its rugged cliffs, stunning views, and the most magical light, it’s hard to go wrong.
We started by walking down the beach to find a little quiet moment for them to pop a bottle of champagne from their favorite winery, Scribe. From there, we wandered up the cliffs chasing the sun, stopping along the way to soak in the views and snap some photos. It was a little chilly and windy, but they stayed close, cuddled up, and laughed the whole time, which made for the sweetest moments :'-)
I brought along a roll of film for this one too, and I’m so glad I did! There’s just something about the tones and texture of film that matches the softness of the ocean light so perfectly.
As the sun set, the light turned soft and moody during blue hour. On our way back down, the moonlight was sparkling on the water, and I couldn’t resist grabbing a few last frames before we wrapped up. I seriously had the best time with these two and can’t wait for their wedding later this year!
