These film engagement photos in Marin Headlands with Carmen and Davis were EVERYTHING! Carmen and Davis are the type of people that SPARKED joy and love! From the moment we began our session to the end - we just smiled, laughed and kept on repeating just how BEAUTIFUL the view was. The city, the bridge, the bright green grass, the wildflowers, the sun, the fog you can see in the distance. Everything about this evening felt like it was meant to be. This session was a true reminder as to why I do what I do! I just love serving couples who are so in love and Carmen and Davis definitely brought all the energy! I captured Carmen on Davis on a mix of digital and film, and I'm just so obsessed with how these film photos came out!
Carmen & Davis' Film Engagement Photos in Marin Headlands
So many of my couples request to come to this gem of a location, and I never get tired of bringing them here! I mean, these views are insane! I just loved the silliness, the scenery, excitement, and being surrounded by the nature! A lot of my couples, including Camren and Davis, always talk about how they don't know what to do with their hands, bodies, or aren't photogenic. I call BS!! I always ask people - "do you love each other" and of course the answer is YES ( at least it better be LOL). That's truly all you need. The rest follows! Love really shines through. Your personality shines through. I just LOVE love and showing YOUR love through photos is my favorite thing. Carmen and Davis came to me saying they felt awkward when taking photos and didn't think it came naturally to them. But just LOOK AT THEM!!! With a few prompts and giggles, they were themselves and we had the best time gushing over how incredible the scenery is, how we can see the boats drifting through the water, watching the tiny people at battery spencer, hiking and running up and down the hills, looking at the wildflowers, watching the sun go down, seeing the city lights come on.
All the little things added so much to this session, and I especially loved getting some dreamy film engagement photos of them! Our hearts were so full. I just love this spot in Marin Headlands so much. ESPECIALLY in the spring!! Right when the grass gets green and tall. Flowers start to poke out, the sun gets warmer and is out. and the birds chirp. Spring is the perfect time, in my opinion, to get photos at Marin Headlands!
