Carmen & Davis's Intimate Wedding in San Francisco
Carmen and Davis were so lucky to have family friends that allowed them to get married in their 1900s vintage home in San Francisco, overlooking the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. It was not just a beautiful day but a celebration filled with emotion and unforgettable moments. Their wedding was full of little contributions from their friends and family, which made this intimate wedding happen for Carmen and Davis!
Private Vows at Fort Funston
We started the day at Fort Funston, where Carmen and Davis decided to have their first look and share their private vows. Fort Funston, with the green hills and the ocean, provided the perfect backdrop for such a special moment. They wanted their vows to be absolutely private, a moment just for them, so I gave them space, taking pictures from afar, allowing them to soak in this moment before they joined the rest of their wedding guests. Being a part of this intimate moment, even from far away, was so special as I got to capture it for them to look back on in the future to help them remember how they felt.
Intimate Wedding at a Family Friends Home
They then ventured to their family friend's home, where they had the wedding ceremony out front; the vibe was incredibly special since this wasn't just any wedding venue. Carmen and Davis's choice to use a family friend's home added a personal touch that made the day even more memorable. With its vintage charm and stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the house was the perfect place for them to say "I do."
The intimacy of their wedding could be felt in every detail. With only their closest loved ones present, the loving energy of the day could really be felt for the couple! Carmen and Davis were feeling that energy throughout the day. They couldn't stop laughing, hugging, & tearing up. My role was to document the day as naturally as possible, capturing candid moments of love, laughter, and everything in between. From all the hugs to the emotional conversations, each photo tells a story of a day full of love.
One of the moments that really stood out to me was how incredible the food was; having such an intimate wedding allowed Carmen and Davis to focus on their guest's experience, with food at the top of the list! Every vendor involved was a family member or close friend, which added to the day's intimate feel. Carmen's mom and her friends took on the flower arrangements, and their DIY creations were perfect for this intimate wedding!
